Hydra V3.0

Post  Technoshaman on Wed Aug 27, 2008 12:56 pm

First of all, greetings to everyone, and thanks for having this page up Smile

Here's an AGV I've built a while ago. It's on my site, which's still under construction Neutral
Here's the link to the actual page:

HYDRA V3.0

and here's a picture:

The project is open source. PCB files, and the PIC C code are available on the same page.
I'm not writing much here since the page has all the details...
Also look up Technoshamanarchist on Youtube for videos of Hydra and other projects.

Happy programming / building Wink

Thank you Conrad Smile

Yes, there's a wireless camera on it (but that's the front, the black box at the back is a 12V 0.8Ah lead/acid battery) which I can view on my PC which has the receiver connected to a TV card on it. By the way, the hosting server is under maintenance, so the picture and the site is unavailable for a while Neutral

Well, Hydra is complete really. I sometimes get caught in the process and won't stop adding more and more to the same project, which is actually bad, because I should move on to another one so I can get more creative Smile so, I'd rather make a more advanced robot with better tracks, rather than upgrading this one.

I've been using PIC MCU's for about 4 years now (I'm used to designing with them in mind), and I don't really know why I should go for Atmega's (why should I, unless they have some huge advantage over the PIC's?). Maybe you can help and enlighten me Smile

Thanks
